Verdicchio is a white Italian wine grape variety grown primarily in the Marche region of central Italy.
This Italian refreshing white wine has aromas of peach and lemon peel, with lemon-like acidity and a nice finish of bitter almond.
When you first encounter Verdicchio, you’ll be greeted by a delightful bouquet of aromas, ranging from fresh citrus to subtle almond notes. As it evolves, it may express more complex scents like honey and dried fruit. On the palate, Verdicchio is crisp and refreshing, thanks to its high acidity. It offers a balanced flavor profile, with a hint of bitterness on the finish—an intriguing characteristic that makes this wine stand out. Whether you’re a wine aficionado or a beginner, exploring Verdicchio is a delightful journey that promises a captivating experience for your palate. So, why wait? It’s time to pour yourself a glass of Verdicchio and toast to good times!

Yes, high-quality Verdicchio wines can be aged and they often develop more complex flavors over time.

It is best served slightly chilled, enhancing its refreshing acidity and complex flavors.

Seafood, white meat, and tangy cheese pair excellently with Verdicchio due to its high acidity and balanced flavor.

Its unique green-tinged grapes, crisp acidity, balanced flavors, and a slight bitterness towards the finish make Verdicchio stand out.

Take a small sip and let it roll over your tongue. Try to identify the flavors. Is it fruity or spicy? Light or full-bodied? The taste should confirm what your eyes and nose have already told you.

Wine tasting is more than just an indulgence. It’s about understanding the wine’s origins, its production, and the intricate balance of flavors and aromas. It’s also about the experience, the joy of savoring each sip, and the memories created.  Join Us!
